La Big Latin Band
La Big Latin Band was created by the pianist Ramon Escalé with Roger Font as productor and manager.
With three CD realesed and with hundreds of concerts given, La Big Latin Band is a set of 14 highly recognized and talented musicians of great experience both in Jazz and Latin music in Spain, principally in Catalonia.
It’s formation matches with conventional salsa but, with the addition of a distinguished saxaphone section that consents a more “jazzistic” bias to place this big band between the two styles.
