Rumba Catalana
Rumba has in Catalonia a genuine sound with its specific "ventilador" rhythm.
Great artists like "El Pescaílla" o Peret have raised Catalan Rumba to populariry up to the highest moment that was the closing ceremony of the Barcelona Olympic Games in 1992.
The group is formed by three guitarist-singers under two possible presentations: on stage or walking among the audience. In both cases. two dancers can be added to this formation becoming a much more visual and impressive act.
